Photovoltaic system:
With the installation (July /2022) of the photovoltaic system on the roof of our company, we cover a large part of our energy requirements from renewable sources. The photovoltaic system consists of state-of-the-art solar modules that efficiently convert sunlight into electrical energy and thus contribute to reducing our CO2 emissions. With this sustainable investment, we are setting another milestone in our environmentally conscious corporate philosophy. By utilising solar energy, we produce clean electricity that not only powers our printing presses, but also supplies our lighting, computers and other electrical devices.
By installing the photovoltaic system, we are significantly reducing our consumption of non-renewable energy and reducing our dependence on external electricity sources. This enables us to further improve our ecological footprint and increase our contribution to climate protection.
LED lamps:
Another contribution to our sustainable management is the LED lamps that we use throughout the company. LED lighting is widely recognised for its energy efficiency and low power consumption compared to conventional light bulbs. By using LED lighting, we minimise our energy consumption and thus contribute to reducing CO2 emissions.
Our endeavour is to continuously look for new opportunities and technologies to further reduce our ecological footprint.
Reduction of waste sheets through the use of inline colour measurement
In our continuous efforts to achieve sustainability, we have placed a particular focus on optimising our processes to reduce plastic waste. In doing so, we rely on advanced technologies such as inline colour measurement in our production machines.
Inline measurement is an innovative process that enables us to carry out precise measurements and checks during the production process. This enables us to recognise any deviations or quality problems at an early stage and make immediate adjustments. Inline measurement is of crucial importance in the context of reducing plastic waste:
Precise measurements during the production process allow us to quickly recognise and correct errors or deviations. This reduces the number of faulty products and thus minimises rejects and the amount of unusable materials.
Inline colour measurement has enabled us to optimise our use of resources in production to the highest level.
By integrating inline colour measurement into our production processes, we are able to significantly reduce our waste production and use our resources more efficiently. This not only contributes to improving our carbon footprint, but also to increasing our operational efficiency.
